The LIGHTBOARDCORP signature race incorporate Nelos vast
experience to create the fastest flatwater canoe hulls using the most advanced hollow TRIPLE 3k CARBON pvc vacuum heat cured construction and our surf sport design
experience.
The falconbird style inverted bow nose with steep angeled top sideline in the front is a signature design feature and follows the Nelo patented recent
developments in sprint and marathon canoe design.
Triple carbon foam epoxy vacuum heat
cured race boards are lighter, stiffer and faster. We upgraded our construction with double sandwich stringer in the bottom hull and in the standing areas. This is leading
to extraordinary flex performance and speed.
The average weight of a 14´x 24.75" is less than 10kg. The standing cockpit area is comfortable
dampening and slightly flexing while the integral monocoque body is recognizable. stiff. We offer the boards in 2 width and propose for experienced paddlers up to 85kg the 23" version with
275l. Best choice for rough conditions and heavyweight paddlers ist the 24.75" wide model with 296l volume.
The boards are delivered including our honeycomb race fin -with the signature profile. Lightweight neoprene handles, sea waterproof V4A screws and washers and
a comfortable 5mm diamond grip pad round up the set up.
The advantage of composites is that they don´t require much maintenance; of course there are some crucial rules to extend the lifetime of your race board:
- do not put it in the sun for long periods
- do not tight it too strongly on the rack and place it upside down
- never store or transport it inside the cover if the board is not well dry
- and treat it like a baby

THE BOTTOM CONTOUR IS ROUND WITH ACCENTUATED V IN THE FRONT. IT IS SLICING THROUGH CHOP AND WAVES, STILL ABLE TO BE STEERED WITH EASE. THE ROCKERLINE IS A NEW DEVELOPMENT AND FEATURES A FLAT LINE IN THE CENTER AND STRAIGHT LOW ROCKER IN THE LAST 1/3RD WHICH MAKES THE BOARD A WASH RIDING GIANT EVEN IN THE 2ND AND 3RD WAVE AND WILL SAVE ENERGY WHEN NEEDED. WE TESTED THE BOARD IN MULTIPLE CONDITIONS AND THEY OFFER A LARGER RIDER WEIGHT VARIETY THAN THE SIGNATURE DUE TO THE BETTER 1ST STABILITY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THE 22.2” FOR PADDLERS UP TO 83KG AND ABOVE THE 23.2”. I TESTED MYSELF THE 22.2” IN A 10K TIME TRIAL AND IT HAS BEEN FAST ALTHOUGH I HAVe BEEN TO HEAVY. THE FIRST SERIAL 23.2 ARRIVES NEXT WEEK. SO FRIENDS EVEN IN THE LOCK DOWN TIMES WE CAN START DOING DEMO WITH ALL MODELS ONE ON ONE END OF NEXT WEEK.

LIGHTBOARDCORP.NELO FREERACER 14´x 26" HOLLOW CONSTRUCTION . Really stoked to present our latest edition of a super
versatile racer . tech racer . beach racer and also sportive tourer. It´s a surf maniac and will handle beach race conditions with ease. It is fast enough in the flats to compete against
specialized designs. It turns on a dime and that´s why it will shine in short distance flatwater techraces as well. It is very comfortable in handling and pretty lightweight and stiff due to a
double sandwich hollow construction.
The rockerline offers a gentle nose scoop and a low tailrocker to catch small bumps. The rails are super soft in the front and the nose will not catch any direction. The bottom design in
the back 3rd flows into a slight v with tucked under edge rails . The outline is full of harmony with a nice small squash tail.
The finbox positioning is a bit more to the front to keep the board easy to navigate. The stance position is quite low given a classic design. Lot´s of volume in the front keep the board
floating over waves.
We will arrange soon more pictures in action/surf. Some could test the board already at the LEGENDOFOX race and I can promise you it is a fast raceboard in 26" width. It will be suited perfectly
for paddlers 85kg+ and also more lightweight paddlers looking for a gentle sportive Tourer. I took it out on a testrun to join Normen for a fast round and could follow his pace in a draft
of 10 - 10.5kmh and you can hammer the board to some top speed as well. But the general strength is the versatility of this design - ONE FOR ALL CONDITIONS !

LIGHTBOARDCORP.NELO OCEANRACER 14´x 27" HOLLOW CONSTRUCTION . A missing part in our range of SUP racedesigns has been a
model that is easy to handle in heavy chop and ocean conditions.
But we designed the brand-new OCEANRACER not only to be used when it´s getting rough. It is a nice blend of fast flatwater capabilities, extraordinary stability and freedom to go over and with
waves. The rockerline offers a gentle nose scoop and an accelerated tailkick when the going get´s tough. The center part is a more straight line that catches small bumbs with ease and is
pretty fast in the flat. The pintail helps to run against waves and the overall flat to round bottom hull with soft edges doesn´t catch a rail and is easy to keep in direction.
The OCEANRACER is not only a premium choice for top athletes oceanracing but also a very fast race touring model for those who are looking for the most relaxed flatwater race experience. The
first model is offered in 14 x 27” but we will come up soon with a 14´x 24.5” version which will suits the worlds best in open ocean conditions.
The construction is tough with double sanwich bottom and standing area and extra layers in the rails. The sideline is quite high to prevent water entry. The dug-out rails are slim and the
stance width option is wide. The finbox positioning is a bit more to the front to keep the board easy to navigate.

SIC Atlantis NEU Mod 2021
Das brandneue SIC ATLANTIS ist der jüngste Neuzugang in der Raceboard-Familie von SIC. Designed wurde das Board vor allem für raue Bedingungen auf dem Meer sowie hohen Swell und mäßige bis starke Downwindbedingungen. Das Board ist ideal für den Wettkampfeinsatz bei Downwindrennen.
Das ATLANTIS verfügt über ein tiefes Cockpit und hohe Rails, was für eine souveräne Stabilität sorgt. Das rautenförmige Heck verleiht dem Board zudem eine ausgezeichnete Richtungsstabilität, ohne seine Wendigkeit zu beeinträchtigen. Das Board liebt hohen Swell und reitet Wellen souverän ab. Wie auch beim SIC RS sorgt der Step Channel Bottom für einen verbesserten Geradeauslauf. Das Atlantis verfügt über einen Venturi Drainagekanal, der unter dem EZ-Haltegriff platziert ist, um eintretendes Wasser schnell aus dem Cockpit abfließen zu lassen.

Bauweise
Die Super Fly (SF)-Konstruktion ist ein massiver Sprung nach vorn, sowohl was die Haltbarkeit und Steifigkeit, als auch die Gesamtleistung betrifft. Dabei handelt es sich um eine PVC-Sandwich Bauweise mit Carbon. Der EPS Kern ist vollständig mit PVC umwickelt (Top, Bottom, Rails) und verleiht dem Board eine enorme Schlagfestigkeit. Dies verleiht dem Boardkern einen deutlich steiferen und stärkeren Längsflex noch bevor das Board mit Carbon und Fiberglas umwickelt wird. Diese Bauweise gehört zu den besten bei SIC verfügbaren Konstruktionen und bringt robuste, leichte und steife Boards hervor. Die Boards verfügen über ein atemberaubendes Finish im Metallic-Look, ein Cross-Cut EVA-Deck-Pad, einen EZ-Haltegriff und eine Kamera-Halterung an der Nose. Alle diese Designelemente heben die Atlantis Boards noch weiter von ihren engsten Konkurrenten ab.

SIC RS Mod 2021 NEU
Das RS hat sich auch 2020 zu einem Favoriten unter Paddlern fast aller Könnensstufen entwickelt und erhielt nach 2018 und 2019 erneut die prestigeträchtige SUP Connect-Auszeichnung "Race Board of the Year". Dabei bleiben die 2021er Modelle des RS in Bezug auf Shape, Bauweise und Design im Vergleich zu 2020 unverändert. Die einzigen Neuerungen betreffen die Textur vom neuen Cross-Cut EVA Deckpad und das Kickpad sowie den Leashplug, die weiter nach hinten wandern.
Das RS ist laut Feedback von Paddlern auf der ganzen Welt noch schneller und stärker geworden. Auch die nationalen und internationalen SIC Teamfahrer, die es in allen möglichen Bedingungen gepaddelt haben, bestätigen das. Letztendlich bleibt die ursprüngliche Version des RS eines der schnellsten Boards der Welt. Shaper Mark Raaphorst war jedoch in der Lage, es durch zusätzliche Feinabstimmung und Tests noch schneller zu machen. Die Verbesserungen sind gering, wirken sich auf die Geschwindigkeit aber signifikant aus. Die Nose verfügt über mehr Volumen und läuft spitzer zu, was für weniger Windanfälligkeit, eine bessere Beschleunigung und eine höhere Geschwindigkeit sorgt. Das Volumen aus den Rails wurde auf dem Top Deck verteilt. Das Board hat damit einen höhergelegten Bug und schneidet besser durch Wasser und Wellen. Die Nose der 14‘0“ Modelle wurde um etwa 1/4"/0.635cm und das Tail um 1/2"/1.27cm abgesenkt, um die Lage im Wasser zu optimieren. Die Rocker Line der 12‘6“ Modelle bleibt unverändert, da diese nach Aussage der Teamfahrer nahezu perfekt war. Das Deck im Cockpit wurde leicht abgesenkt, um den Schwerpunkt der Paddler tiefer zu setzen. Dies sorgt für mehr Paddelkraft und Kipp-Stabilität. Die Positionierung der Entwässerungslöcher wurde ebenfalls angepasst, um den Wasserablauf aus dem Cockpit zu beschleunigen.
